Could still use something. Use 30g malt powder and 15g salt per pound popcorn - 50% more of both. Yeast extract was too much, black pepper was good but a bit distracting from the vinegar / salt.

Increase malt powder and salt by 50% (already done). Consider adding vinegar powder or reducing black pepper.
